Ford focus

Ford_focusFord focus will add a few enhancements to its MY2013 Focus range by including the Sync infotainment system and Active City Stop.
Standard across the range, Sync provides hands-free, voice-activated in-car connectivity via a compatible mobile phone or digital media player. Key Sync features consist of an automatic phone book download function, voice control of your phone for making calls, and the use of voice commands to control your media player. On top of this, received text messages can be read aloud, including translations of commonly used abbreviations, such as LOL - maybe even ‘WTF! Sync can also be operated via steering wheel- mou nted со nt rol s.

Added to the specification of the S46,990 Titanium is Active City Stop technology. The collision-mitigation system, which works at speeds of up to 30km/h, avoids minor traffic incidents by automatically braking the Focus if sensors detect the vehicle is about to collide with something in front. Titanium models now feature leather trim as well as Adaptive Cruise Control, active bi-xenon headlights, a sunroof, a self-parking system, smart key, sat-navand 18-inch alloy wheels.
Another new feature for die range is an active grille shutter. This enhances the aerodynamics, producing better fuel economy in some driving situations and conditions. The wheel designs change, new colours are available and wagon models have been added, a price $34,990 Ambiente 1.6-litre model and a $40,490 Trend 2.0-litre diesel. Also coming in November is the 2.0-Litre turbocharged ST model, available in manual only and priced from $52,490.

A source change from Germany to Thailand sees the price realigned for some models. The MY2013 Focus range goes on sale tliis month starting at $32,990 for the entry-level 1 .б-litre hatch.
